Development Work

Though I’m happily employed, I do like to sometimes do contract development work, especially for libraries and non-profit organizations.  I’m proficient in:

• ASP.Net (both VB.Net and C#)
• PHP
• Ruby on Rails
• SQL Server
• MySQL
• Javascript, CSS, and Ajax
• Installing, configuring, extending open source software (WordPress, MediaWiki, etc.)

I’m not much of a designer.  (This site is using one of Tumblr’s themes.)  I most frequently get asked if I can “design a website” and the answer is always that I can but it won’t look very pretty.  I’m much better at application development.  If you want to contact me about web work, please feel free:  ibaaske(at)gmail.com
